At EHX@CES, The iMeter Solo Kit received Electronic House's TOPS Award in the Energy Monitoring Devices & Services category
Las Vegas, NV – January 8, 2010 – The iMeter Solo Kit was the recipient of the Electronic House TOPS Award in the Energy Monitoring Devices & Services category.
The iMeter Solo Kit - INSTEON Web-Based Power Meter Kit includes an iMeter Solo that works in conjunction with an iGateway. The iMeter Solo measures the energy being used by a plug-in device; it transmits that information to an online database via the iGateway. The online data is stored and translated into tables and graphs that display energy use and costs based on the cost of electricity in your locale. You can access this information from anywhere in the world using the Internet and a secure SSL login. This data can even be exported to Excel for advanced analysis and graphing. Additionally, email alerts can be set to notify you of an event, such as exceeding your budget or being on a path to exceed budget.
Winners of the TOPS Awards were chosen by EH editors, along with distinguished industry veterans and the magazine's DIY correspondent.
The awards were presented during the 2010 International Consumer Electronics show (CES), which took place Jan. 7-10, 2010, in Las Vegas.
